OK, so the cover art may be a bit cheesy and the vocals a bit dramatic, but who cares? Just playing through these Yngwie Malmsteen tabs will increase your ability to shred guitar exponentially and impress like never before!
So let's get to it!
The Wizard starts right off with a harmonic minor scale run in the key of E minor. It's easy if you know your scales!

The main riff is not too hard. It's just a simple E minor metal riff.

Coming in next is a melodic lead phrase, ending with a really fast harmonic minor run! Can you play it?

The verse is easy stuff. Just ride that low E string and use palm muting.

The pre-chorus moves the key up two frets. If you know the F# minor scale, that's what it is based on.

Go to the relative key of A Major for the chorus riff. Just look out for the separate endings of chorus 1 and chorus 2!

The double chorus introduces a variation on the previous chorus riff.

During the bridge, we do some stuff that sounds really neoclassical. See those asterisks? Those mark the places where Yngwie duplicates the pattern in a canon fashion.
