Poker Face Tabs: Intro
The intro for Poker Face uses an octave-based riff and staccato-style notes. The second half of our intro uses a left hand tapping riff that imitates the synth effects in the original recording! You will find that most Lady Gaga tablature uses "guitar-specific" techniques to mimic synthetic sounds. That is what makes these renditions so accurate!

How to Play Poker Face on Guitar: Verse Section
The verse is easy! It uses a palm muted riff on the sixth string only!

Pre Chorus
Our pre chorus section revisits a phrase that was used in the intro of our Poker Face tabs. Watch out for the second ending, which cuts it off short using a dotted half note rest!

Chorus
The chorus for our Poker Face guitar tablature lesson uses a basic four chord progression: G#m, E, B, F#. If you look closely at the tablature, you will find strumming details that match the music identically.

Post Chorus
A prominent feature in Lady Gaga guitar tabs is the use of a post chorus section, usually a throwback to a phrase previously used in the song. This post chorus does just that, by revisiting our theme from the intro, but varying it up a little!

Poker Face Tabs: Bridge
The bridge section might be the hardest part in the song! It uses a sixteenth note picking pattern, closely resembling the vocal melody.

The outro uses the chord progression we have already established in the choruses, but reverts to big whole note strums. Repeat a few times and you are done!
